Giveaway!!

When I first started writing Clinging to Jesus, a friend asked me if I had heard of the Clinging Cross. She said when she went through a traumatic experience, it really helped her.

So I googled it.

Here’s what I found:

This small cross is designed to fit in the palm of your hand so you can literally cling to it. It’s made of wood pruned from the olive trees that grow in the Holy Land and comes in a cute burlap sack, and a prayer.

There is a lot of symbolism behind olive trees in the Bible, but more than anything, I find this cross a tangible reminder to cling to Jesus when I’m in pain.

You can find these on Amazon, but I ordered mine from The Keeping Company. They are super affordable.

Clinging to Jesus

Reading, praying, and focusing in general is just plain hard when you hurt. Whether it’s your head, your back, your joints, or something else, when we feel miserable, it’s easy to let that awful feeling consume us.
